The Greencastle Virtual Music Festival exists to create community through shared musical experiences. With in-person concerts suspended indefinitely, we are giving audiences access to live music and musicians much-needed paid performance opportunities.

Started by Eric Edberg, Professor Emeritus of Music at DePauw University and the Founding Artistic Director of the Greencastle Summer Music Festival, we are inspired by the summer festival's mission of "bringing the community together with friends making music for friends.

Launching on August 19, 2020 with the great Blues artist Tad Robinson (a Greencastle resident) and his band. we will feature musicians of all genres from Putnam County, central Indiana, and ho have a genuine connection with our community--including artists from outside Indiana who have performed here in Greencastle as part of the summer festival.

We will schedule future performances as funding and performer schedules allow.
